Paul Sherman co-founded Bay Area Tech Wire
and is currently publisher of the Tech Wire newsletters
and related publications. Paul and his colleagues also founded
Potomac Tech Wire, New England Tech Wire, Southeast Tech Wire,
Potomac Tech Wire, Tri-State Tech Wire, European
Tech Wire, and most recently Thames Tech Wire. In addition to his
editorial duties, Paul has moderated more than forty Tech Wire
business panels on subjects ranging from venture capital to telecommunications
to homeland security. Prior to starting Tech Wire, he worked for
three years as the news assistant at The New York Times bureau
in
Mexico City, and wrote for the Economist Intelligence Unit, Latin
Finance and Time magazine for two years. Paul received an MBA from
The Wharton School in 1999 and a B.A. in political science from
Brown University in 1992.

Rich Scherr

Rich Scherr is a seasoned technology and financial journalist
who has been with the Tech Wire publications since 2001. The Baltimore
native previously spent nearly four years covering the Baltimore
and Washington technology scene for LocalBusiness.com, and has
been a regular contributor to the sports pages of both The Baltimore
Sun and The Washington Post for several years. Also among his credits
have been a stint editing morning news feeds for America Online
and frequent contributions to the Associated Press.

Parul Nath

Parul Nath is the Marketing Manager for Bay Area Tech Wire and
the other Tech Wire publications. Parul handles classified advertising
for clients, meeting and event planning and customer service for
marketing and advertising related matters. Prior to joining Potomac
Tech Wire, she worked with local Technology and News organizations
in their marketing departments. She graduated from the George Washington
University with a Bachelors in Business Administration in 2001with
a focus on Marketing and Information Systems. |

Sam Solovey

Sam Solovey co-founded Bay Area Tech Wire and is currently
Director of Business Operations and Customer Relations for the
entire family of Tech Wire publications. Sam manages customer
acquisition, advertising sales and market expansion. He and Paul
oversee the business directory portion of the business, and Sam
manages the logistics, sponsors and speaker bookings for all Tech
Wire seminars. Prior to starting Tech Wire, he worked as a Change
Management Analyst for Accenture in New York City and Washington
D.C. While at Andersen, he worked on projects for Merrill Lynch,
AT&T and the U.S. Postal Service. Sam has also hosted an innovative
radio talk show titled, The Untrained Psychologist and occasionally
serves as a professional auctioneer for several charitable
organizations in New York and Washington, DC. He graduated with a
B.A. in political science from Colgate University in 1998.

Ray Bolger

Ray Bolger is a 15-year veteran business journalist who has
focused on new technology companies and the investors who back
them. Prior to joining Tech Wire publications in 2000, Ray was
a staff reporter and assistant managing editor for LocalBusiness.com,
a national network of daily, online technology business news feeds.
He was also a regular contributor to Digital South magazine, which
covered venture capital in the Southeast U.S. Prior to that, Ray
was a contributing writer to Warfield's magazine and The Daily
Record newspaper, a decades-old daily business publication in Baltimore.
As a copy writer, he has written special sections in Forbes magazine
on regional economic development.

Jim Robinson

Jim joined Tech Wire in 2003 and currently serves as editor
of the European-based publications. In addition to his responsibilities
for European Tech Wire and Thames Tech Wire, Jim has also led the
development and expansion of Tech Wire's news portal, EuropeanTechNews.com.
From 1997 to 2000, he lived in Mexico City, where he worked as
reporter, copy editor, assistant finance editor and lastly national
editor for English-language daily The News. He has written several
articles for financial monthly Business Mexico, for which he worked
as assistant editor in 2000. In 2001, Jim worked in Puerto Rico
and Valencia, Spain, on country supplements published in BusinessWeek.
Jim graduated in 1997 from the University of Idaho with an MFA
in English.

Ned Sherman is an attorney, entrepreneur and business executive
with 10+ years of experience working with media, entertainment,
technology and Internet clients in the United States, Asia, Europe
and the Middle
East. Since 2000, he has been Chief Executive Officer of Digital
Media Wire, Inc. Under his leadership today, DMW has three main
revenue channels and communicates daily with 30,000+ executives
and professionals
at digital media companies throughout the world. Ned has produced
and been a moderator or speaker at dozens of executive forums on
digital media topics, including digital music, interactive television,
interactive games, mobile entertainment and intellectual property
rights. Ned previously practiced law in the Entertainment Department
at Loeb & Loeb LLP. Ned graduated from the University of Texas
School of Law in 1994 and received a B.A. in Political Science
from Brown University in 1990.

Tinzar Than

Prior to joining Digital Media Wire as Marketing Director in
2002, Tinzar was Communications Manager at the Beverly Hills Hotel.
During
her term, she was in charge of installing and managing DSL lines
and the management of the hotel’s Communications staff. She
handled the hotel’s relationships with mobile service providers
and implemented a new communications system by switching pagers to
cell phones for the entire hotel management and staff. She managed
the Department’s budget and payroll, and phone equipment and
office supply inventories. Tinzar holds a B.S. degree from University
of Massachusetts at Amherst with a major in Hotel & Restaurant
Management and a minor in Japanese.

Mark Hefflinger has served as Editor of the Digital Media Wire
daily e-mail newsletter since September 2000. He also contributes
to related publications including Potomac Tech Wire, Bay Area Tech

Before joining Digital Media Wire, Mark worked for several technology
and entertainment public relations firms in Los Angeles. Mark holds
